Just sold my truck in a Mr. Magoo type chain of events.
Met George, the buyer, at the car wash where I had my Tacoma detailed earlier today. One the way I realized it wouldn't be safe to have him drive me home with $3500 cash in my pocket. So I called a friend. Then I made George go the bank to make sure the $ was real. While in the bank we both got $50 parking tickets since we forgot to feed the meters. When I went to sign the title I saw we needed to get it notarized. The bank only notarizes Wells Fargo docs. Off to the Fed Ex store. Notary gone for the day. Walked into a Caldwell Banker office where the roving notary just happened to be. My friend drove me home. $3500 real dollars in my pocket, feeling a little silly, but good.
I'll miss you dear Tacoma!
