Great tip to help your #EFT #Tapping work: Say It Like You Mean It!

Sometimes those who are new to EFTcan be a little confused as to why they are repeating the “reminder phrase” as they tap down all the acupressure points.  It  can also become a very mechanical process or procedure where they are not really feeling the emotion that they keep repeating as they tap all the points.

The most important factor is to actually be FEELING the emotion as you tap the points and repeat the word.  In fact, if you only felt the emotion and didn’t say anything as you tapped on the points - EFT would still provide amazing results!

It is also possible to say a certain phrase or another word that “triggers” an emotional reaction as you tap down the points instead of saying the description of the emotion.  For example if someone once said to you “You’re a horrible mother” and that made you feel “guilty” you could say “horrible mother” as you tapped each of the points instead of “guilty” because it’s actually that particular phrase that elicits a strong reaction within you – not the word “guilty”.  What you will find after tapping is that when you say that particular phrase again you will react calmly instead of feeling guilt.

Give it a try and see what happens!

Happy tapping…
